ACCOMMODATION  IN SALAMANCA 

For Hispano Continental, accommodation is a very important part of your Spanish learning. When you come to study Spanish in our school, you have a choice of different accommodation types. You simply choose the accommodation that suits you on the enrolment form. Once we have received your enrolment form, we will send you all the information and all the instructions so that you do not have any problem on your journey and during your stay. 
All our families, flats, residences and hotels, that work with us, are located in the city centre, a maximum of 20 minutes walking to the Plaza Mayor and the school.
If you are not entirely comfortable, for whatever reason, with the accommodation that has been assigned to you, please notify the school secretary and we will quickly find an alternative.
Normally students arrive on Saturdays or Sundays to begin the course on Monday. 
Students must go directly to the lodge when they arrive in Salamanca. If your accommodation is far away from the bus or train station you can take a taxi. People from the family or the apartment´s ower will be wating for you.

We offer our students different possibilities for lodging in Salamanca:

-Host family 
-Shared flat 
-Studio apartments 
-Student residence 
-Hotel/Hostel 

HOST FAMILY: Hispano Continental recommends you this option, it is the best way to integrate fully into Spanish life and culture. H.C. has a wide and excellent list of families. All of whom are carefully chosen and have extensive experience. Families are checked regulary to guarantee the lodging. 
Students can choose between:

-Single room and full board.
-Single room and half board.
-Double room and full board.
-Double room and half board.

Check-in: The Sunday before the course begins. 
Check-out: The following Saturday after the course has finished.

The families are located centrally and all have facilities. A laundry service can also be arranged. 

SHARED FLAT: You will live with other students (foreigners or Spaniards). You will have to share the kitchen, the sitting room and the bathroom(s).

The are two possibilities:

-Individual room 
-Double room

All the flats are equipped with the necessary furniture to make your stay comfortable. You are only required to bring your own towels. The flat owner will provide bed linen. 
Electricity, water and wifi are included in the price.
All the flats have washing machine and fridge.

Check-in: The Sunday before the course begins. 
Check-out: The following Saturday after finishing the course.

STUDIO APARTMENTS: If you want complete independence, we can find for you an apartment ot studio. 

STUDENT RESIDENCE: In the students residences you will live with students from other countries and also from Spain. In Salamanca there is a wide variety and most of them are located in the city centre.
Diferent possibilities:
-Single or double room and full board or half board.
In your choice is living in a student residence, we will look for the options available to you along with their prices. 

HOTELS AND HOSTELS: Salamanca has a large variety of hotels and hostels with different categories.
If you choose this option, please contact us, give us your requirements and we will send you a list of hotels and hostels according to your preferences.

-At the end of the course students fill a questionnaire to evaluate accommodation. These results are valued by administration staff and managers.
