How do I get to Salamanca?

HOW TO GET SALAMANCA FROM THE AIRPORT OF MADRID:

1) By bus: 

A) Everyday there are 5 buses that travel directly to Salamanca (Bus Station) from the Airport of Barajas-Madrid (Terminal 1 and Terminal 4). The buses leave the airport (Terminal 1) at 13:00, 15:00, 17:00, 19:00 and 21:00 (also 22:00 from June to September). Terminal 4: the buses leave the Terminal 4 15 minutes later: 13:15, 17:15, 19:15, 21:15 and 22:15.

 The operator of this service is AVANZAhttp://www.avanzabus.com. A single way ticket will cost 28,30 € and two-way ticket will cost 51,50€.

The bus from Salamanca to the Airport of Barajas-Madrid leaves the bus station at 07:00, 09:00, 11:00, 14:00, 16:00 (also19:00 from June to September). (Sundays: 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 (also19:00 from June to September). This service takes approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. 

B) If it is not possible to travel at these times, Auto-Res Express buses travel directly to Salamanca nearly every hour, starting at 7:00 A.M. The last bus leaves the station at 21:30 M-Th, 22:00 on Fridays, and 23:00 on Sundays. One-way travel is approximately 25,20 € and two-way travel approximately 45,20€. 

The following route (by metro) can be taken by students wishing to travel from the airport to the “Estación del Sur” located at C/ Méndez Álvaro 83: Board the Metro Pink Line inside the airport and ride until the "Nuevos Ministerios" station. Once there, catch the Metro Gray Line towards "Avenida de América" and ride until the "Méndez Álvaro" station, where is the "Estación del Sur". This service takes two hours and 45 minutes.

2) By train

RENFE Express trains, which leave from Station Chamartín, depart for Salamanca every day at 08:30, 08:55 (train ALVIA),11:08, 12:45 (ALVIA), 15:30, 15:55 (train ALVIA), 17:57, 19:30, 20:35 (train ALVIA), 21:30 and 21:50. One-way travel is approximately 24,10 €, and two-way travel is approximately 38,60 €.

From Salamanca to Madrid the trains leave at: 04:56, 05:48, 06:50 (ALVIA), 07:37, 09:45, 10:50 (ALVIA), 12:28, 15:30 (ALVIA), 16:44, 17:38, 18:20 (ALVIA) and 19:58.

This service takes approximately two hours and 45 minutes. The ALVIA train takes only 1 hour and 36 minutes.

If you arrive at Terminal 4 and want to get to the city centre of Madrid, there are frequent trains (called Cercanías; line C1) departing from the train station at Terminal 4 and arriving at the station Príncipe Pío which is located in the city centre of Madrid. This line calls at: Chamartín (central train station), Nuevos Ministerios, Atocha, Méndez Alvaro (bus station) and finally Príncipe Pío.

3) And by taxi service:
